Lucknow airport deploys zon guns to keep birds away from flights

Zon guns, thunder bombs and a six-shot launcher have been deployed at Lucknow's Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA) to prevent birds from getting close to flights. The airport management has also installed bird chasers and scarecrows for the purpose. People in nearby villages have been asked to cover waste bins to keep birds and other animals away.
