Lucknow-Kanpur can get high speed rail connectivity

The Uttar Pradesh government is accelerating plans for a Rapid Rail Transit System (RRTS) between Lucknow and Kanpur while also advancing the State Capital Region (SCR) project through new infrastructure initiatives, including outer ring roads and regional connectivity corridors. The projects aim to reduce travel time, ease congestion, boost investment, and strengthen economic integration.
