Ludhiana farmers paid ₹1,706 cr as 7 LMT paddy procured

Ludhiana district has received 7.18 lakh MT of paddy this season, with government agencies procuring 7.02 lakh MT. Farmers have been paid ₹1,705.91 crore so far. MSP is fixed at ₹2,461 per quintal, with 17% maximum moisture content allowed. Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain urged farmers to bring dry, mature produce to mandis.
