Mark Hamill's character Luke Skywalker's lightsaber from 'The Empire Strikes Back' was sold for $3.75 million (₹36.2 crore) at auction, making it the most expensive 'Star Wars' prop ever. The prop belongs to the scene where Darth Vader severs Luke's hand. This has surpassed the record set by the sale of Darth Vader's lightsaber, which was sold for $3.6 million.
