Luxury tax margin set at ₹1500 for Delhi Hotels

Hotels in Delhi that charge less than ₹1500 per room per night will be exempted from paying luxury tax, as per the state's budget for 2016-17 presented by Delhi Finance Minister Manish Sisodia on Monday. Hotels have also been given the option of self-declaration of taxes. Meanwhile, ₹30 crore has been allocated for building 'Brand Delhi' to promote the city.
