Lyrid meteor shower to peak during early hours of April 23

The annual Lyrid meteor shower (debris from the Thatcher Comet) will peak in the early hours of April 23. With no bright moon in the sky, viewers could see up to 18 meteors per hour. The celestial display with some bright and fast meteors would also include the ones with trains, according to the Royal Observatory Greenwich.
