Machado slams Trump-Venezuela oil deal as illegitimate

Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado criticised the massive US-Venezuela oil deal brokered by Trump with interim President Delcy Rodriguez, calling the regime illegitimate. She argued Venezuela's oil reserves — the world's largest at 303 billion barrels — belong to the people, not an unelected government. She also warned the deal may reduce pressure for fresh elections.
