Mackenzie Scott donates $1.7 bn of her wealth since divorcing Jeff Bezos

Novelist MacKenzie Scott, the world's second-richest woman with a $59.3 billion fortune, said she has donated $1.7 billion since her divorce with Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos. She has also changed her surname from Bezos to Scott, which she said is taken from her middle name. Scott donated for causes including racial equality, LGBTQ rights, public health and climate change.
