Macleods Pharma recalls 10,052 anti-bacterial drug bottles in US

Macleods Pharmaceuticals is recalling 10,052 bottles of Levofloxacin tablets from the US market, according to the US Food and Drug Administration. The tablets are used to treat various bacterial infections. The recall has been initiated due to "mismatching of the embossing on the tablets with the embossing mentioned in the package insert in the distributed bottles".
