Macron urges French to save energy amid EU-Russia tensions

Amid tensions between Russia and the EU over the war in Ukraine, French President Emmanuel Macron has urged the people of his country to adopt energy-saving measures in order to avoid power cuts during winter. Macron on Monday warned that power rationing could be introduced if voluntary efforts don't suffice. He added that "cuts will happen as a last resort".
