Made-in-India rifle developed in 100 days clears tests, set to be inducted

Indigenous UGRAM 7.62x51 mm battle rifle made by Indian firm Dvipa Defence has passed key Army and Ministry of Home Affairs trials. The rifle is now under procurement by several Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Developed in collaboration with the DRDO's Armament Research and Development Establishment, UGRAM rifle's functional prototype was ready in just 100 days.
