Madhav Kumar Nepal replaces PM Oli as Nepal Communist Party chief

Madhav Kumar Nepal has replaced Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli as Chairman of the Nepal Communist Party after 315 central committee members voted in his favour, party spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha said. The party will also be taking disciplinary action against Oli, he added. This comes after President Bidya Devi Bhandari ratified PM Oli's proposal to dissolve the Parliament.
