Madhya Pradesh Cong MLA resigns ahead of state bypolls, joins BJP

Madhya Pradesh Congress MLA Rahul Lodhi resigned from the party and his Assembly membership and joined BJP on Sunday, ahead of the state bypolls. According to reports, 26 MLAs have quit Congress in MP since March this year. "I have worked with the Congress for around 14 months but I couldn't work for development," the MLA said.
