Madhya Pradesh HC rejects bail plea in Coldrif cough syrup case

Madhya Pradesh High Court rejected the bail plea of pharmacist and pediatrician Praveen Soni, his wife Jyoti Soni, and nephew in the Chhindwara toxic cough syrup case. The accused allegedly distributed dangerous Coldrif syrup without prescription, destroyed evidence, causing over 26 child deaths.
