Madhya Pradesh on Sunday reported its first cases of the Omicron variant of the COVID-19, eight people who had returned to Indore from abroad tested positive for the strain. “Out of these patients, six have recovered and have been discharged while two are undergoing treatment,” Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra said.
