Madras HC overturns 'the worst judgement'; acquits 5 people

The Madras High Court has acquitted five persons awarded life sentence by a lower court in a 2010 murder case. The court held that the judgement based on the communal and social background of the accused was "unconstitutional". Calling it the "worst judgement", it added that it was a classic example of how a court should not pass a judgement.
