Madras HC cautions people in power in Sanatana Dharma row

The Madras High Court on Monday, 6 November, cautioned people in power against expressing views that divide people in the name of ideology, religion or caste. The remarks relate to the speeches of TN ministers Udhayanidhi Stalin and PK Sekar Babu against Sanatana Dharma. The court also slammed the police for its inaction against those who delivered the “inflammatory” speeches.
