Madras HC grants 'no caste, no religion' certificate to 3-yr-old in Chennai

Madras HC has directed authorities to issue a 'no caste, no religion' certificate to a three-year-old boy in Chennai. The boy was denied admission to a school after his parents denied to mention their caste or community. His father then filed the petition. Tamil Nadu government's earlier orders mandate schools to not insist parents to mention their caste or community.
