Maersk suspends vessel crossings in Strait of Hormuz

Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East and closure of Strait of Hormuz, Danish shipping and logistics company AP Moller Maersk has suspended all vessel crossings the channel. It has also decided to pause future Trans-Suez sailings through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait for the time being. However, it said that acceptance for cargo to the Middle East area remains open.
