Oscar-winning actor Dame Maggie Smith has passed away at the age of 89 on Friday. Smith was known for playing the roles of Professor Minerva McGonagall in the 'Harry Potter' movies and Dowager Countess of Grantham in TV series 'Downton Abbey'. "An intensely private person, she was with friends and family at the end," her sons said in a statement.
