At least 150 people in Khadavli village of Maharashtra's Thane area have been hospitalised after drinking polluted water from a river. While around 40 of them got admitted for medical treatment on Sunday, over 100 others were rushed to various hospitals on Monday. The river water reportedly became contaminated after several chemicals to kill fish were discharged into the water.
