Maha blood banks report 681 extra blood units, say 'may expire in 3-4 weeks'

Four state blood banks in Maharashtra have reported 681 extra units of blood and have asked for help from the State Blood Transfusion Council. The banks have said that the extra units may expire if not used in three to four weeks. Akshay Blood Bank from Satara has 140 units of blood. Siddheshwar Blood Bank from Solapur has 200 units.
