Maha CM Eknath Shinde's bags checked by poll officers in Palghar

Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde's bags were inspected by poll officials at Palghar police ground helipad on Wednesday as he arrived for the Assembly poll campaign. A political row over bag checks on Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray triggered heightened scrutiny over poll protocols. Following this, similar inspections were done for Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
