Maha CM Shinde calls meeting on Maratha reservation as protesters call for bandh

Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde will be attending a state Cabinet sub-committee meeting on Maratha reservation which will take place today, Chief Minister's Office has informed. This comes as a bandh was called in multiple districts of the state over the lathicharge on people protesting for Maratha quota in Jalna. Notably, Jalna SP was sent on compulsory leave following lathicharge incident.
