Maha Congress chief Patole offers to resign after poll defeat

Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole on Tuesday said he has expressed his willingness to resign from the post and now it's up to the party high command to decide. However, Patole clarified that last week he had not tendered his resignation and rumours were being spread. Congress won 16 seats out of the 288 seats in the Maharashtra Assembly polls.
