Maha family gifts ₹34 cr insurance to villagers on son's wedding

A family from Maharashtra arranged an accident insurance coverage of ₹1 lakh each for all 3,465 residents of the village, at their son's wedding in Nanded district. The policy that created a social safety net worth nearly ₹34.6 crore is valid for one year. The insurance was purchased using the village voter list through the Gram Panchayat.
