Maha forms SIT to probe over 15,400 health scheme fraud claims

Maharashtra has launched a major probe into suspected fraud in health schemes. The state has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate over 15,400 suspicious claims under Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana (MJPJAY) recorded between 2024 and 2026. The team will submit its report within 30 days of its formation.
