Maha govt allowing bike-taxis will push auto drivers to suicide: Sanjay Raut

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut urged Maharashtra Transport minister Pratap Sarnaik to reconsider the decision to allow bike-taxis in the state as it would impact autorickshaw drivers' livelihood. "The decision...is pushing Marathi unemployed rickshaw drivers across the state towards suicide," he added. Raut further said livelihood of "lakhs of youths" in Maharashtra depends on driving rickshaws.
