The Maharashtra government on Tuesday told the Bombay High Court that entry of women inside the Haji Ali Dargah, a mosque located in the southern part of Mumbai, should not be prohibited. The Court had earlier sought the opinion of the state government on a plea against the Haji Ali Trust's decision banning the entry of women inside the shrine.
