Maha govt declares Dec 6 as holiday to mark Mahaparinirvan Diwas

Maharashtra government declared a public holiday on December 6 (Friday) in view of the Mahaparinirvan Diwas, which is the 68th death anniversary of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar. As per the circular, the holiday will be observed in all government and semi-government offices within the jurisdiction of Mumbai and Mumbai Suburban districts. Traffic restrictions have been imposed in Mumbai from December 5-7.
