Maha govt forms panel to decide on raising retirement age

Maharashtra government on Thursday set up a committee to look into the demands of raising the retirement age of its employees to 60 years from the current 58. Central government employees retire at the age of 60 years, while the figure varies from state to state. Maharashtra has around 15 lakh employees in over 35 government departments across the state.
