Maha protects 30-acre DPS Flamingo Lake as conservation reserve

Navi Mumbai's 30-acre DPS Flamingo Lake has been endorsed as a conservation reserve by the Maharashtra State Wildlife Board, becoming satellite wetland to be protected. The lake, part of Thane Creek Flamingo Sanctuary, provides a vital resting and feeding ground for flamingos during high tide.
