Maha reports 2nd suspected death due to Guillain-Barre Syndrome

Maharashtra reported its second suspected death due to Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) after a 56-year-old woman succumbed to the disease at Pune's Sassoon General Hospital on Wednesday. Officials said she initially complained of weakness and was admitted to a hospital in Sinhagad area, which has been the epicentre of the outbreak. Notably, 127 people have been diagnosed with GBS in Maharashtra.
