Maha to ban high caffeine energy drinks sale near schools: Minister

Maharashtra Food and Drugs Administration will issue an order banning the sale of energy drinks with high caffeine content within a 500-metre radius of schools, state minister Dharmaraobaba Atram has told the Legislative Council. He said that as per the current rules, 145 ml and 300 ml of caffeine is allowed in a litre of carbonated or non-carbonated drinks.
