Mahadev app promoter detained in Oman, India to seek extradition

Sourabh Chandrakar, the absconding co-founder and prime accused in the Mahadev betting app syndicate, has been detained in Oman. India is in the process of sending an extradition request to Oman, an official said. His detention marks a major breakthrough in the probe into the alleged betting syndicate, which Indian agencies claim generated proceeds of crime worth about ₹6,000 crore.
