Maharashtra announces task force to boost drone industry growth

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said the government will set up a task force led by Minister Ashish Shelar to accelerate state's drone industry and implement its unmanned systems policy. He called for a 'Policy of Policies' covering R&D, testing, patents & subsidies. The state plans to develop a Drone City in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar & support testing and indigenous component manufacturing.
