Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde set to visit Nanded district

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will be visiting Nanded today after Shiv Sena sacked district chief Umesh Munde and several other leaders for indulging in “anti-party activities”. Shinde faction, in June, rebelled against the Sena camp, leading to the fall of the 31-month-old Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi government. Shinde was sworn-in as the CM of Maharashtra on June 30.
