Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde's son Shrikant wins Kalyan seat

Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde's son Shrikant Shinde has won the Kalyan Lok Sabha seat for the third time in a row. He defeated Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Vaishali Darekar-Rane by over two lakh votes. Shrikant, who was 27 years old when he won in 2014, defeated NCP's Babaji Balaram Patil by a margin of over three lakh votes in 2019.
