Maharashtra CM Fadnavis orders withdrawal of cases against student protestors

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday directed Home Department to withdraw police cases against youth demonstrators involved in student protests over NEET paper leak. State government sources noted that formal withdrawal will proceed after obtaining approvals from respective courts. The decision follows similar moves by Bihar and Assam governments to drop legal action against protestors.
