Maharashtra declares public holiday for Ram Mandir event on Jan 22
The Maharashtra government has declared a public holiday on January 22 in view of the consecration ceremony of Ayodhya's Ram Mandir. The ceremony will take place at 12.20 pm. Many other states, like Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Assam and Madhya Pradesh, have also announced public holidays and half-day holidays on the same date.
