Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde hospitalised, condition stable

Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde was hospitalised in Thane on Friday after he developed a high viral fever and suffered from physical exhaustion. He is reportedly under the care of a team of specialist doctors who said his condition is stable. Shinde's health deteriorated due to an intense work schedule amid the ongoing Monsoon Session of the Maharashtra Legislature.
