Maharashtra FDA seized 35.547 tonnes of food stock worth ₹79.97 lakh in statewide inspections. Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar recorded the largest seizure, while spices and ajwain were confiscated in Nashik. Officials also suspended licences of two Mumbai food establishments over unhygienic conditions and violations, as they intensified food safety checks.
