Maharashtra FDA suspends 21 food outlets over hygiene violations

Maharashtra's FDA suspended licences of 21 food establishments across the state, including Barista Coffee Company, Bhagat Tarachand and Oye Kiddan Restaurant. Violations included rat and cockroach infestations, rusted equipment, expired food and missing health records. Five outlets were in Mumbai, 15 in Pune Division and one in Konkan Division. Adulterated water and food stock were also seized.
