Maharashtra fixes fodder prices in 304 drought-hit talukas

Maharashtra govt has set dry fodder at ₹12/kg and green fodder at ₹8/kg across 304 drought-affected talukas. District collectors will head five-member committees to procure and distribute fodder. DPC funds will revive stalled rural drinking water schemes. Subsidies of ₹31/m³ for silt excavation and ₹35/m³ for transport to farms were also announced.
