Maharashtra govt allows Adani Group firm to run Navi Mumbai airport

The Maharashtra Cabinet has approved the concession agreement in favour of Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) for development of upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport in Panvel. Earlier, the project was to be developed by GVK Airport Developers, which was running the Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL). In August 2020, AAHL said it was going to acquire controlling stake in MIAL.
