Maharashtra has given India the most number of ODI players

The maximum number of ODI players in the Indian cricket team have come from Maharashtra, with 46 of India's 216 ODI cricketers belonging to the state. Maharashtra is followed by Karnataka, Delhi and Tamil Nadu, which have produced 22 ODI players each for the national team. The list also includes Punjab, with 19 ODI players coming from the state.
