Maharashtra leases 1,200-acre land to firm owned by Supriya Sule's son-in-law
Maharashtra government has leased 1,200 acres of fertile land in Ahilyanagar's Haregaon village to Vishwaraj Renewables Private Limited, a Mumbai-based company owned by NCP-SP MP Supriya Sule's son-in-law Sarang Lakhani. Social activist Anjali Damania has questioned the allotment of government land to a private company without a tender process. She also raised concerns over the term of the lease.
