Maharashtra MLA Kalidas Kolambkar quits Congress to join BJP

Maharashtra Congress MLA Kalidas Kolambkar on Monday resigned from the party and the post to reportedly join the BJP. Kolambkar was a former Shiv Sena leader and joined the Congress along with former state Chief Minister Narayan Rane. In March, Kolambkar had removed the Congress signboard outside his residence and instead put up the portrait of Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis.
