Maharashtra protocol lapse a 'trivial issue': CJI BR Gavai

Chief Justice of India, BR Gavai, called the protocol lapse issue during his Maharashtra visit "trivial", which shouldn't be blown out of proportion. The matter should be given "quietus", he said. CJI had earlier disapproved the absence of senior state officials during his first visit to his home state after assuming office. "All concerned have already expressed regrets," he said.
