Maharashtra’s SIR drive strained frontline workers

BLOs in Maharashtra told DECODE they were handling nearly 1,000 forms each while dealing with app crashes, repeated data entry and limited logistical support. Teachers, ASHA workers and clerks said they used personal phones, money and time to complete the work. Some teachers also said election duties were disrupting classrooms.
